Each of the 18 playable characters has a unique fighting technique and, therefore, must be played differently. In the battle between good and evil both heroes and villains have magic wristbands that can transform them into mythical warriors, giving them the precise likeness and superhuman powers of the zodiac creature they represent. When the Chinese martial arts student, Ang, is chosen over his twin sister Ling to be the next Golden Dragon destined to fight the Zodiac Master, Ling joins the dark side in a quest for redemption. One thing stands in his way: the Golden Dragon. The evil Zodiac Master is trying to attain the powers of the twelve guardians as that will make him virtually unstoppable. Each sign has its own temple, and each temple has its own guardian. Backyard Baseball 2001 is enjoyable, but far too easy for adults, so, you would better get it for your little sister, brother or other young relatives.Legend of the Dragon is centred on the story of the signs of the ancient Chinese zodiac, which holds great mystical power. No complaints about the graphics area, neither, since the environment is colourful and pleasant to watch. You will also find funny the way they chat. The kids are taunting about their abilities to play, and this fact brings a good humour.

The sounds are great, and there is always fun to listen the characters, the commentators, the cheering crowds and the general ambiance. Speaking of teams, you have 30 characters to choose from. You can make the game challenging by setting the difficulty to a hard one, and make it fun by combining teams. There is no plot, you just create teams and try to gain high scores and win. If the characters are placed in the right spot, they will automatically catch the ball. The game works smoothly, and you can simply control the action with the mouse (to run, throw or swing in the place you want to) and with space button in order to pause it. I found this game as the perfect game for children, mostly because of the authentic animations and the simple menu presented. Backyard Baseball 2001 is a sports game published and developed by Humongous Entertainment, a company owned by Atari.
